For your information

What time does Te Mākete run?

Te Mākete starts at 9am, and closes at 1pm. You can pop in and out at anytime while we are open.

What dates does Te Mākete run?

Te Mākete runs once a month on a Saturday. Dates are set 6 months in advance and advertised on our website and social media platforms.

Where can I park?

Public parking is available at Parrs Park.

Can I bring my dog?

Te Mākete is a dog free market, however we have a shady spot at our entrance with water bowls for you to tie your four legged friend up.

Are you taking on new vendors?

Please fill in the contact form on our website to initiate kōrero about holding a stall at Te Mākete.

Do I need to speak Māori?

Te Mākete is a 'reo-friendly' place. We encourage everyone to give te reo a go, however our management team and stallholders all understand that everyone is at a different place on their te reo journey, and will easily switch between languages to accommodate. This is a safe space for all.

Is this market accessible for wheelchair users?

Accessible car parks are located right outside the school office - look for the electronic sign. The market grounds are reasonably easy to navigate in a wheelchair, and we have an accessible toilet as well.

Do you provide a cash out service?

The closest ATMs are located in Glen Eden town centre.
